Messages from your fellow Lions
Jim is a very  dedicated Lion. He is a great source of knowledge in Lionism. He has wonderful stories of the
past.                                                                                                                                        -Lion Doreen Clock-

I respect Jim because of his knowledge of the Lions and also because of his  presentations on Lionism. He also
tells me if the oatmeal is good before I order it.

Jim Keller and a short quote don't belong in the same paragraph!
                                                                                                                           -Lion Terry Alexander-

I really appreciate the time that I've been able to spend at the state conventions with Jim.  He has been a mentor
in helping me to understand Lions  and Lions International. His devotion to Lions makes me strive to be a better

Jim has lived Lionism for many years!
                                                                                                                             -Lion Don Larson-

Jim has been Mr Lion since I met him.  Over the last twenty-five years he has always been the club member to
go to the conventions. His convention reports have become a Magic City Lions tradition. We are constantly
ribbing Jim on their detailed nature. If we have a project or function, Jim is present.
                                                                                                                                -Lion Bob Nyre OD-

Its dificult to find the proper words to discribe the important role Jim has played in the promotion of Lionism
throughout North Dakota and the surrounding region.  He was and remains the reason I am so supporting of
Lionism thoughout the world. Locally, he is the inspiration of our Magic City Lions' Club. I do not know just how
many awards he has rightfully received throughout his career as a Lion but his continued involvement in all
aspects of Lionism defines his overall character.
                                                                                                                              -Lion David Snyder-

When I think of Lions Service Clubs in Minot,ND, there is only "One Lion" who stands head & shoulders above
everyone else.  Lion Jim Keller!!  His dedication to Lionism is unparalleled. ND Hall of Fame member (only Lion
from Minot with this honor), Past District Governor, has attended just about EVERY State & District Convention
since becoming a Lion. He has held offices too numerous to even try to mention. In all honesty, Lion Jim has
been, and still is, the number ONE inspiration for me as I continue participating in Lions. Congrats Lion Jim on
your spotlight as Lion of the Month!!

                                                                                                                                 -Lion Gene Neal-

Lion Jim Keller is recognized as the Magic City Lion who has accomplished the most in the world of Lionism.
While he has attained what I consider to be the highest honor available at the state level, the ND Lions Hall of
Fame, something he did locally was really fun for all of us who members at that time.  For many years he and a
couple of other Lion ran what they called the "Construction Company".  Under Jim's leadership, this crew would
manufacture special awards for their fellow Lions. At the the Awards Banquet, after the real awards were
presented, they would hand out these hand made special awards: BEST DRESSED LION, HARDEST
WORKING LION, etc. The paint was rarely dry, but the awards were always a hit, very funny and highly
