|Magic City Lions charter banquet was October 11, 1969. There were 30 members
in the original Magic City Lions. We currently have 40 members. One of the
original members (Lion Jim Keller) is still in the Club. See the orginal roster by
The Magic City Lions meets on Tuesdays at 7:30 am at the Parker Center, 21 1st
Ave SE, Minot, North Dakota. The Club does not meet on Tuesdays following a
Monday holiday or the two weeks between Christmas & New Years. Our business
meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

|We had a very successful Germanfest on April 7. We had
a sold crowd of over 300. Fun time was had by all. Hope
you can make it next year!

|These Magic City Lions and several not pictured worked the Big One Craft Show on
April 13-14. We worked taking tickets as a fund raiser for our club! Great job to all
the Lions that participated in this project!
|Dan Daffinrud from SkySkopes.Inc was our speaker on April 17.
Dan spoke on how his company does data processing from their
drones. Thanks for a very interesting presentation, Dan!
|Lion Sarah Burckhard and Lion Josh Ressler are
presented the Key Award for bringing new members
into the club. Lion President Gary Thuner was very
happy to give them the pins. 4-24
|Lion Sharon Palmer with Jordan Lakoduk.
Jordan was our speaker at our April 24
meeting. Jordan is developing an app for the
Audio Description Project at the
Scandinavian Park in Minot. The app will
help the sight impaired hear the descriptive
narrative at the park.
|Shaun Sipma with Lion Bob Nyre at our May 1 meeting.
Shaun is running for mayor of Minot. He expressed his
views on the future of the Magic City. Thanks for
speaking to our club, Shaun!
|Lion Nicole Swartwout was presented a pin
for bringing new members into our club. She
is with Lion Gary Thuner! 5-01
|We had a good time planting flowers at the Parker Center again this
year. Thanks to all the Lions the participated in the project. Special
Kudos to Lion Irene and Lion \Gene for spearheading the project this
year! Hopefully the flowers will be really pretty this year!

our club about all the great events coming to the fair this year!

|The Magic City Lions helped at the Relay for Life Survivor's
Banquet at the Grand Hotel on June 4 at 4:00pm. This is a great
event we look forward to working every year! Hats off to Relay for
Life and the good work they do!

Gary Thuner at our July 10 meeting. Little Lions Sholeh and
Shayan did some tail twisting. Our speakers were McKenna
Larson and Brett Fiddler from the Rotary Club. They spoke on
their project, Fill the Bus, that takes place on Aug 8.
